# Workspace subdomain

> Find your workspace subdomain and tell the CLI which workspace to use.

Every NeetoDesk workspace has its own subdomain. It is the part of your workspace URL before `neetodesk.com`. For `https://spinkart.neetodesk.com`, the subdomain is `spinkart`.

The CLI uses the subdomain to know which workspace to sign in to and which workspace a command works on.

## Find your subdomain

    Sign in to NeetoDesk in your browser and look at the address bar.

    For `https://green-earth.neetodesk.com`, the subdomain is `green-earth`.

## Sign in with it

Pass the subdomain to `login`:

```bash theme={"system"}
neetodesk login --subdomain green-earth
```

If you omit `--subdomain`, the CLI asks for it.

## Pick a workspace for a command

With one signed-in workspace, the CLI uses it and `--subdomain` stays optional. When you sign in to more than one, add `--subdomain` to every command that talks to the API:

neetodesk tickets list --subdomain green-earth
